Work as part of Club Sapphire team
Develop and update product and Club knowledge and job skills on an ongoing basis
Demonstrate acceptance of constructive criticism and a willingness for self-improvement

Carry out assigned duties in a timely and professional manner

Job-specific responsibilities
Prepare and cook quality food
Participate in safe food handling practices
Check food to ensure its quality
Prepare food for cooking using a range of kitchen equipment
Ensure all recipes and preparation requirements are met
Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
Cook food by a range of cookery skills and methods (baking, braising, frying, roasting or steaming, for example)
Follow standard production recipes
Ensure the food is well presented
Prepare food displays and buffets
Clean kitchen premises and equipment
Clean food preparation areas and equipment
Desired Skills and Experience
Previous experience working in a high-volume food/dining environment, ideally possessing skills and interests in a particular cuisine/s;
Chef qualification or commensurate experience/credentials
Able to work evenings, weekends and PH's
Work cooperatively and professionally in a fast-paced team environment
